Janes Contracting is a family-owned construction company specializing in custom decks and outdoor living spaces throughout Douglas County, Elbert County, and the surrounding communities. Based right on the Elbert/Douglas County line, our team is made up of people who live, work, and raise our families in the same communities we serve.
We believe building something for someone’s home is more than just a job—it’s a responsibility. That’s why we approach every project with the same care and attention we would expect if it were our own backyard.
Why I Started Janes Contracting
Janes Contracting was founded on a simple belief: homeowners deserve a contractor who cares just as much about the experience as the finished project.
Too often, large construction companies become focused on volume and profits, leaving homeowners feeling like just another number on the schedule. From the beginning, my goal was to build a company that does things differently—one where every customer feels heard, respected, and taken care of from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

Janes Contracting started in 2022 as a small family business and has continued to grow with the help of family members who share the same work ethic and values. Today, several members of our extended family work together to build something lasting—not just a business, but a company that supports our families and creates opportunities for the next generation.
